Mr. Savage is not our employee. His program airs on this station as part of a contractual agreement with the program's provider, Talk Radio Network. We have made clear to TRN our concern for parents who were the target of these remarks.

We will continue to support and encourage the free and open discussion of vital issues on our airwaves, by our hosts and our listeners. At the same time, we will exercise the responsibility to maintain our broadcasts within the bounds of the public interest.
